DGW was recommended to Portstewart Golf Club and invited to tender for the new facility. During the tender process, opportunities were identified to develop the design information, improve buildability and create cost efficiencies.

Working with engineering support and the wider project team, alternative solutions were developed while maintaining the intended design. DGW's involvement grew beyond the original construction scope into design development, client liaison, programme management, value engineering, procurement and specialist fit-out coordination.

Notable physical elements include a distinctive curved green roof, retaining structures, major groundworks, structural steel, masonry, Tipperary natural stone, Lunawood timber, high-specification interiors, specialist golf facilities and a coffee/hospitality area.
